Priscilla Cardoso Rodrigues

Priscilla C. Rodrigues graduated in Law and completed her Master in Law at the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), São Paulo, Brazil. She is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Law at the University of Coimbra, where she was also Researcher at the Legal Institute, and a CAPES scholar in the Law PhD Program. She is a Professor of Indigenous Peoples Rights at the Institute of Legal Sciences and at the Insikiran Institute of Indigenous Higher Education at the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR), Amazon, Brazil, where she works with the Yanomami, Yekuana, Taurepang, Makuxi, Wapishana, Wai Wai, Sapará, Waimiri Atroari, Warao, and Kariña Indigenous Peoples. She is also a member of the CNPq Research Groups Amazônia-Natural Resources and Socioeconomic and Environmental Sustainability (GPASSA) and Nucleus of Studies and Research Ovelário Tames (NEPOT) and of the Feminist Judgments Project-Brazil, an Appraiser of Colleges and Universities at the Brazilian Ministry of Education and a Reviewer of brazilian and international scientific journals. She is also Coordinator of the Observatory of Human Rights, as well as of the Space for Discussion and Training in Human Rights and of the Feminist Judgments Project at UFRR. In recent years she has been a Researcher Visiting Scholar at the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute (LACSI) of the University of Georgia in the United States, a Member of the Brazilian Interagency Commission for the Protection and Defense of Indigenous Peoples Rights (CIDIF); Coordinator of the Faculty of Law, Coordinator of the Center of Legal Practice and Defense of Human Rights, and Coordinator-Assistant of International Relations at UFRR. She has professional experience and publications in Law and Anthropology, and research interests focus on Indigenous Peoples Rights Socio-Environmental Law and Feminist Legal Studies.
É graduada e Mestre em Direito pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) e doutoranda em Direito Público pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Coimbra (FDUC). É Professora Adjunta do Instituto de Ciências Jurídicas e Professora Colaboradora do Instituto Insikiran de Formação Superior Indígena da Universidade Federal de Roraima (UFRR), além de Investigadora do Instituto Jurídico da Universidade de Coimbra e Reasearcher Visiting Scholar no Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute (LACSI), na University of Georgia. É Coordenadora Geral do Observatório de Direitos Humanos, do Espaço de Discussão e Formação em Direitos Humanos e do Projeto Julgamentos Feministas da UFRR. É membro dos Grupos de Pesquisa CNPq Amazônia - Recursos Naturais e Sustentabilidade Socioeconômica e Ambiental (GPASSA) e Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas Ovelário Tames (NEPOT) e do Feminist Judgments Project - Brazil; avaliadora de cursos e IES do INEP/MEC e revisora de periódicos cientíificos nacionais e internacionais. Tem experiência nas áreas de Direito e Antropologia, com ênfase em Direito dos Povos Indígenas, Direito Socioambiental e Teorias Feministas do Direito.
