Thiago Herculano da Silva

Actor, director and illuminator. Plastic artist by UFCG (2002), with experience in drawing and pencil painting. Graduated in Theater Degree from UFPB (2015) where he studied the formation of the stage lighting professional through the eyes of the light designer in a multidisciplinary teaching. Master in Performing Arts by UFRN (2019) for which, he researched the reasons that lead the body of the artist who presents himself to be so punished in art and in today's society with an emphasis on gender issues. Currently, a doctoral student in theater at the State University of Santa Catarina, for which he researches the parade of Estação Primeira de Mangueira of the carnival of 2020 with a focus on the image of Jesus in the carnival and the staging of the body of the reveler when representing the figure of Jesus in the parade. Carnival of the Virtual Samba School Deixa de Truque in the period from 2017 to 2021.

Ator, diretor e iluminador. Artista plástico pela UFCG (2002), com experiência em desenho e pintura a lápis. Possui graduação em Licenciatura em Teatro pela UFPB (2015) onde estudou a formação do profissional de iluminação cênica pelo olhar do light designer em um ensino multidisciplinar. Mestre em Artes Cênicas pela UFRN (2019) pelo qual, pesquisou os motivos que levam o corpo do artista que se apresenta nu ser tão castigado na arte e na sociedade atual com ênfase nas questões de gênero. Atualmente, doutorando em teatro na Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina, pelo qual, pesquisa o desfile da Estação Primeira de Mangueira do carnaval de 2020 com foco na imagem de Jesus no carnaval e nas encenações do corpo do folião ao representar a figura de Jesus no desfile. Carnavalesco da Escola de Samba Virtual Deixa de Truque no período de 2017 a 2021.
