Ricardo Hummes Rauber

Graduado em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, com Mestrado em Medicina Veterinária Preventiva pela mesma universidade, Doutorado pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul e Pós-Doutorado pela Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná, ambos em Sanidade Avícola, possui também o título de Especialista em Medicina das Aves pela Universidade Estadual da Carolina do Norte. Profissional com quase 20 anos de experiência em sanidade de aves e suínos, atuou como Gerente de Pesquisa no LAMIC/UFSM, foi sócio fundador e diretor técnico do Instituto SAMITEC, pesquisador, sanitarista e gerente de saúde animal na BRF e, atualmente, atua como Consultor em Saúde Animal na Vetinova - Saúde Animal Estratégica.

Holds a degree of Doctor in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Santa Maria, with a Master's Degree in Preventive Veterinary Medicine from the same university, PhD from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and Post-PhD from the Federal Technological University of Paraná, both in Poultry Health, he also holds the title of Specialist in Poultry Medicine from North Carolina State University. A professional with nearly 20 years of experience in poultry and swine health, he served as Research Manager at LAMIC/UFSM, was a founding partner and technical director of the SAMITEC Institute, researcher, veterinary and animal health manager at BRF and currently works as Animal Health Consultant at Vetinova - Strategic Animal Health.
