Ana Rita Lage Mier de Oliveira

Mestre (2016) pela Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo (FAU-USP), Brasil.Graduada (2008) e Mestre (2011) pela Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade do Porto (FAUP), Portugal.Para a obtenção dos referidos títulos, desenvolveu dissertações versando sobre o tema da iluminação artificial e sua correlação com o ser humano e a arquitetura, mais precisamente em espaços museográficos.A nível internacional, realizou um programa de intercâmbio académico na UFRJ (Rio de Janeiro) e participou em vários workshops internacionais, tendo sido júri em banca da Faculdade de Arquitetura do MIT (Massachusets Institute of Technology), em Boston, EUA.Membro da Ordem dos Arquitetos de Portugal desde 2010, colaborou inicialmente em escritórios de Arquitetura no Porto.Desde 2010, dedica-se em exclusividade à área do lighting design.

Rita Mier is a graduate (2008) and master (2011) of the Faculty of Architecture, University of Porto, Portugal. To obtain both titles, she developed two dissertations dealing on the subject of artificial lighting and its correlation with the architecture and urban space.Internationally, she undertook a program of academic exchange at UFRJ (Rio de Janeiro) and participated in several international workshops. She was banking jury in the Architecture School of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology ) in Boston, USA .Member of the Order of Architects of Portugal since 2010, she worked in two architectural offices in OPorto, exerting its activity as an architect.Since 2010, due to the interest in light, she started working as lighting designer. Today she attends the 2nd year of post graduation in the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of University of São Paulo (FAU-USP), continuing her research in museum lighting.
