André Luiz Nunes Freitas

Graduated in Biological Sciences (Full Licentiate modality) from the University of the State of January (UERJ - 2008). During this period, a paid scientific initiation was carried out in the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics (DBCG) and in the Department of Physiological Sciences (DCF) of the Instituto de Biologia Roberto Alcântara Gomes (IBRAG) of UERJ. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Student at the Laboratory of Neurophysiology of the DCF / IBRAG / UERJ, where he also attended (both with a Note 10 Scholarship from FAPERJ) the master's degree (2010) and the doctorate (2014), the latter being carried out in conjunction with the University in Copenhagen, Denmark, by the Postgraduate Program in Clinical and Experimental Pathophysiology (CAPES concept 7) at UERJ. He has experience in the field of Cellular and Molecular Biology, Human Physiology/Anatomy and Neurotoxicology. He currently works with teaching in higher education and research in the field of neurobiology.

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas (modalidade Licenciatura Plena) pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ - 2008). Neste período realizou a iniciação científica remunerada no Departamento de Biologia Celular e Genética (DBCG) e no Departamento de Ciências Fisiológicas (DCF) do Instituto de Biologia Roberto Alcantara Gomes (IBRAG) da UERJ. Trabalha como Pós-Doutorando no Laboratório de Neurofisiologia do DCF / IBRAG / UERJ, onde também cursou (ambos com Bolsa Nota 10 da FAPERJ) o mestrado (2010) e o doutorado (2014), este último que foi realizado em conjunto com a Universidade de Copenhague, na Dinamarca, pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Fisiopatologia Clínica e Experimental (conceito 7 da CAPES) da UERJ. Tem experiência na área de Biologia Celular e Molecular, Fisiologia / Anatomia Humana e Neurotoxicologia. Atualmente trabalha com docência no ensino superior e pesquisa no campo da neurobiologia.
