Osvaldo Soares Queiroz Júnior

He has a degree in History (lic / bach) from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). He is a master of the Postgraduate Program in Social History of the Amazon (PPHIST-UFPA), focusing his research in the areas of education, heritage, representations, art, politics and diplomacy. The most current research focused on the imagery and political representations around the Baron of Rio Branco in Pará, at the beginning of the Republic. The dissertation entitled "Folded Paper: Art, Politics and Diplomacy in the Representations of the Baron of Rio Branco in Pará (1900-1912)" focused on analyzing documents, works of art, newspapers and public monuments, intersecting areas such as politics, art , diplomacy and social representations around the construction of the great historical character. He is currently an effective professor at the Pará State Department of Education (Seduc)

É graduado em História (lic/bach) pela universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA). É mestre pelo Programa de Pós Graduação em História Social da Amazônia (PPHIST-UFPA), centrando suas pesquisas nas áreas de educação, patrimônio, representações, arte, política e diplomacia. A pesquisa mais atual debruçou-se sobre as representações imagéticas e políticos em torno do Barão do Rio Branco no Pará, no início da República. A dissertação com título "Papel dobrado: arte, política e diplomacia nas representações do Barão do Rio Branco no Pará (1900-1912)" ocupou-se em analisar documentos, obras de arte, jornais e monumentos públicos, intercruzando áreas como política, arte, diplomacia e representações sociais em torno da construção do grande personagem histórico. Atualmente é professor efetivo na Secretaria de Estado de Educação do Pará (Seduc)
