Doutora em Educação pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP (2015). Mestre em Educação pela Universidade do Vale do Itajaí ? UNIVALI (2003). Especialista em Formação na Técnica de Grupo Operativo (1998 ? 2000) e em Clínica Psicopedagógica (1994 ? 1997), ambas no Centro de estudos psicopedagógicos de Curitiba e em Administração e Supervisão Escolar (1990 ? 1991) na Universidade de Nova Iguaçu. Graduada em Pedagogia pela Associação Catarinense de Ensino ? ACE (1990). Autora de várias publicações em periódicos, livros e capítulos de livros, destaque para: Uma educação pela infância: diálogo com o currículo do 1º ano do ensino fundamental (2009); Uma Alfabetização pela Infância (2004) e Arte Contemporânea e Educação Infantil (2017). Pesquisadora no Núcleo de Pesquisa em Arte na Educação ? NUPAE, desde 2003.
