Carmen Cristiane Borges Losano

Doutora em Estudos Literários - Literatura Comparada / Poéticas da Modernidade, pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - UFMG, em Belo Horizonte, sob a orientação do Professor Dr. Georg Otte. Mestre em Letras - Teoria Literária e Crítica da Cultura / Literatura e Memória Cultural, pela Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei - UFSJ, sob a orientação do Professor Dr. Alberto Ferreira da Rocha Júnior. Possui licenciatura plena em Letras (Português, Inglês e suas Literaturas), também pela UFSJ. Atuou como docente na Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais - UEMG, por dez anos letivos, onde lecionou disciplinas relacionadas ao ensino de Língua Portuguesa. Ainda na UEMG, exerceu as funções de Coordenação de Pesquisa e de Extensão. Em 2014, ingressou no Instituto Federal do Sudeste de Minas Gerais - Campus Barbacena, onde lecionou Português (Língua, Literatura e Redação) e Inglês. Em janeiro de 2023, assumiu a Diretoria de Processos Seletivos do IF Sudeste MG.

She is degree in Letters by the Federal University of Sao Joao del Rei (2003) and Masters in Literature - Literary Theory and Criticism of Culture, at the same university. She defended the dissertation "What is grace? One critical view of the criticism of Brazilian theatre comedy"(2005). Today is professor at the University of Minas Gerais State - UEMG / Barbacena, where she teaches "Content and Methodology of Portuguese Language" in the Teaching Course. Leader of the Group of Research in Frankfurt School and Education - GPEFE, along with the teacher Renato DeMelo. Currently she guides four of completion of course work (TCC) of students for graduation, in the area of Critique of Culture (Culture and Language Teaching, Culture and Childrens Language, Culture and Power, Culture and Media). She also directs three works on basic scientific research (two by Fapemig and one by UEMG-Belo Horizonte), in the area of Theory of Literature. Professor of the Program of Support for Researches - PAPq - UEMG, at the unit Barbacena. Current Coordinator of Extension of UEMG - Barbacena. She started to study Law course at college of Unipac Barbacena in February, 2020.
