Robson José de Oliveira Júnior

Bacharel e licenciado em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2006). Mestre (2008) e doutor (2012) em Genética e Bioquímica pelo Instituto de Genética e Bioquímica da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Atualmente é professor Adjunto classe C nível 4 no Instituto de Biotecnologia da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Tem experiência na área de Genética, Citogenética, Biomonitoramento, Biologia Molecular e Nanotecnologia. Coordenada o Laboratório de Citogenética (Citogen) da UFU, desenvolvendo pesquisas principalmente na área de biomonitoramento, citogenética vegetal, biologia molecular e celular de tumores e na prospecção de novas moléculas bioativas para tratamento do câncer. Pesquisador do INCT em Teranóstica e Nanobiotecnologia (INCT-TeraNano). Membro do Comitê de Ética no Uso de Animais (CEUA-UFU). Atua como docente permanente nos programas de Pós-Graduação em Biotecnologia (PPGBIOTEC) e Pós-Graduação em Genética e Bioquímica (PPGGB) da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Coordenador do Pós-Graduação em Genética e Bioquímica (PPGGB). Currently holds the position of Associate Professor, class C, level 4, at the Institute of Biotechnology of the Federal University of Uberlândia. Has experience in the fields of Genetics, Cytogenetics, Biomonitoring, Molecular Biology, and Nanotechnology. Coordinates the Cytogenetics Laboratory (Citogen) at UFU, conducting research primarily in the areas of biomonitoring, plant cytogenetics, molecular and cellular biology of tumors, and the discovery of new bioactive molecules for cancer treatment. Researcher at the National Institute of Theranostics and Nanobiotechnology (INCT-TeraNano). Member of the Committee on Ethics in Animal Use (CEUA-UFU). Serves as a permanent faculty member in the Postgraduate Programs in Biotechnology (PPGBIOTEC) and Genetics and Biochemistry (PPGGB) at the Federal University of Uberlândia. Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Genetics and Biochemistry (PPGGB). Acting director of the Institute of Biotechnology at UFU.
