Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, in the Production Engineering Department. Production Engineer from the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG (2009). Master (2016) and Doctor (2021) in Production Engineering from the Graduate Program in Production Engineering at UFMG (PPGEP), in the concentration area "Operational Research and Intervention in Sociotechnical Systems", research line "Social Studies of Technology, Work and Expertise", with an international internship at the San Francisco Department of the Environment (San Francisco - USA) during the master's degree, and a sandwich period at the Universidad del Valle (Santiago de Cali - Colombia) during the doctorate.. Researcher at the Núcleo Alter-Nativas de Produção at UFMG, at the ATEMIS Institute - Analysis of Work and Industrial and Service Mutations and at the Inclusive and Solidarity Recycling Observatory (ORIS). Teaching experience as a substitute professor at UFMG (5 semesters) and PUC-MG (2 semesters). Professional performance in the area of ​​Production Engineering, with an emphasis on Ergonomics, mainly on the following topics: ergonomics of the activity, work organization, assistance to social movements, solidarity economy, urban solid waste management with socio-productive inclusion of waste pickers , industrial organization, social innovation and technology and society. Since 2012, he has worked with cooperatives and associations of collectors (ACs), mainly in relation to cost analysis and pricing of solidary selective collection systems. More recently, he has developed research and intervention in the development of Cooperative Production and Innovation Ecosystems, mainly from urban solid waste, working then on the integration of ACs and other productive groups (composting groups, agroecology groups, etc.) in the diversification of solutions for waste in the territories based on the Economy of Functioning and Cooperation (FCE).

Experiência em docência como professor substituto na UFMG (5 semestres) e na PUC-MG (2 semestres). Atuação profissional na área de Engenharia de Produção, com ênfase em Ergonomia, principalmente nos seguintes temas: ergonomia da atividade, organização do trabalho, assessoria a movimentos sociais, economia solidária, gestão e gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos urbanos com inclusão sócioprodutiva de catadores de materiais recicláveis, organização industrial, inovação social e tecnologia e sociedade. Desde 2012 trabalha com cooperativas e associações de catadores/as (ACs), principalmente em relação a análise de custos e precificação de sistemas de coleta seletiva solidária. Mais recentemente tem desenvolvido pesquisa e intervenção no desenvolvimento de Ecossistemas Cooperativos de Produção e Inovação, principalmente a partir dos resíduos sólidos urbanos, trabalhando então na integração das ACs e outros grupos produtivos (grupos de compostagem, de agroecologia, etc) na diversificação das soluções para os resíduos nos territórios com base na Economia da Funcionalidade e da Cooperação (EFC).
