Walquiria da Silva Felizardo

Walquiria has a background in international development and project management. As an Associate and Social Investment Specialist at Community Insights Group, she developed training materials and taught a course on social investments, and provided research and data analysis services for social due diligence and social impact assessment.Previously, as a development specialist and a partnerships fellow Walquiria undertook assignments for the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) in Cambodia, for Human Rights Watch office in London and for a mining operator in Mozambique. Walquiria?s experience included management, monitoring and evaluation of multi-stakeholders development programs as well as research on social issues in the coal mining industry, land rights, contract transparency and related human rights standards.Walquiria holds a Masters degree in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, University of London) and an MBA in Project Management from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV-Brazil). Originally from Brazil, Walquiria has lived in the United States, Uruguay, Cambodia, Mozambique, United Kingdom and The Netherlands. She has proven adaptability and creativity in multi-cultural environments and is a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English and Spanish and speaks some French and Dutch.

Walquiria tem seu background em desenvolvimento internacional e gestão de projetos. Sua experiência de mais de 7 anos inclui gestão, acompanhamento e avaliação de programas de desenvolvimento social, engajamento com múltiplas partes interessadas, bem como análise de impactos sociais e direitos humanos. Trabalhou diretamente com agências das Nações Unidas, Banco Mundial, ONGs e think-tanks de grande reconhecimento internacional. Walquiria já desenhou e lecionou em diferentes cursos sobre investimentos sociais, monitoramento e avaliação, gestão de projetos. Também é responsável por pesquisas e análise de estatísticas e base de dados socioeconómicos. Originalmente do Brasil, ela viveu nos Estados Unidos, Uruguai, Camboja, Moçambique, Reino Unido e Holanda. É nativa em português, fluente em inglês e espanhol e fala um pouco de francês e holandês.
