Thiago Cancelier Dias

He holds a degree and a bachelor's degree in History (2006) and a master's degree in Cultural History (2008) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). PhD in History from the Federal University of Goiás (2017). He did a sandwich doctorate in Portugal linked to CHAM and the Instituto de Investigação Científica Tropical (2015) on indigenous issues in Goiás (18th / 19th century). He has a postdoctoral degree in Human Rights from UFG. He has worked as a substitute professor in Indigenous Intercultural Education (2011 to 2013) and in the graduation in history at UFG (2018) and IFG (2022-2023), as well as at the city hall of Goiânia (2022). He was a Columbia University Research Fellow in the Transformative Learning Technologies Lab (2022). He is currently an effective professor in the State of Goiás. He has experience in teaching history, environmental education, distance education in history, intercultural education, maker education and university extension.

Trabalhou como professor substituto na Educação Intercultural Indígena (2011 a 2013) e na graduação em história da UFG (2018) e do IFG (2022-2023), assim como da prefeitura de Goiânia (2022). Foi bolsista de pesquisa da Columbia University pelo labotatório Transformative Learning Technologies Lab (2022). Atualmente é professor efetivo do Estado de Goiás. Tem experiência na área de ensino de história, educação ambiental, educação à distância em história, educação intercultural, educação maker e extensão universitária.
