Marcos André de Matos

Professor at the Faculty of Nursing at the Federal University of Goiás (FEN/UFG). Nursing degree (2005). He holds a PhD in Health Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine FM/UFG (2014). Post-doctorate by UFC Cnpq Junior (2022). Leader of the Center for Research and Interdisciplinary Actions in infectious diseases, with emphasis on STI/HIV/AIDS and the Center for Studies in Human Health Care with a Clinical Approach (CNPq). Member of the Research Network on Communicable Diseases (REAT) of FAPEG and of the Equity in Health Commission of SES de Goiás. Coordinator of the UFG+ Occupational Health Program linked to the Pro-Rectory of People Management. Reviewer for national and international journals and referee for the Ministry of Education, Health and Research Centers. Participated in population-based surveys conducted by the Ministry of Health, FIOCRUZ and FUNASA. Permanent professor of the Graduate Programs in Public Health at IPTSP/UFG and Nursing Care at FEN/UFG. Since 2006 he coordinates research projects with vulnerable groups supported by CNPq, FAPEG, FUNASA, Ministry of Education-PROEXT and UNODC. He has experience in the epidemiology of emerging and re-emerging diseases and Collective Health, with an emphasis on social determinants of vulnerable populations and human health.

Professor da Faculdade de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal de Goiás (FEN/UFG). Graduação em enfermagem (2005). Possui doutorado em Ciências da Saúde pela Faculdade de Medicina FM/UFG (2014). Pós-doutorado pela UFC Cnpq júnior (2022). Líder do Núcleo de Pesquisa e Ações Interdisciplinares em doenças infecciosas, com ênfase nas IST/HIV/Aids e do Núcleo de Estudos em Cuidados à Saúde Humana com Abordagem Clínica (CNPq). Membro da Rede de Pesquisa em Doenças Transmissíveis (REAT) da FAPEG e da Comissão de Equidade em Saúde da SES de Goiás. Coordenador do Programa Saúde do Trabalhador UFG+ vinculado a Pró-reitoria de Gestão de Pessoas. Revisor de periódicos nacionais e internacionais e parecerista do Ministério da Educação, Saúde e de Centos de Pesquisa. Participou de Inquéritos de base populacional conduzidos pelo Ministério da Saúde, FIOCRUZ e FUNASA. Professor permanente dos Programas de Pós-graduação em Saúde Pública pelo IPTSP/UFG e Cuidado em Enfermagem FEN/UFG. Desde 2006 coordena projetos de pesquisa com grupos vulneráveis com fomento pelo CNPq, FAPEG, FUNASA, Ministério da Educação - PROEXT e UNODC. Tem experiência em epidemiologia das doenças emergentes e re-emergentes e Saúde Coletiva, com ênfase em determinantes sociais de populações vulneráveis e saúde do homem.
