Agronomist from the Federal University of Lavras, he was a public policy manager for the School Feeding Coordination of the São Paulo City Hall, working on the National School Feeding Program (PNAE) and its relationships with the direct purchase of family farming and agroecology for school feeding municipal program. He has also acted as a consultant on sustainable school feeding and access to markets through family farming, having worked for FAO - Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, for the design of the Sustainable School Feeding Network for Latin America and the Caribbean - RAES ALC, and for FIAN Brazil, in a project that links the PNAE with the Human Right to Adequate Food and Nutrition. He is currently an advisor at CEAGESP (wholesale market in the state of São Paulo), working on the commercial inclusion of family and agroecological agriculture. He holds a master's degree in rural development from the Graduate Program in Social Sciences in Development, Agriculture and Society at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (CPDA/UFRRJ).
Engenheiro Agrônomo pela Universidade Federal de Lavras, foi gestor de políticas públicas da Coordenadoria de Alimentação Escolar da Prefeitura de São Paulo/SP, com atuação no Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar e suas relações com a compra direto da Agricultura Familiar e agroecológica para a alimentação escolar municipal. Atuou também como consultor em alimentação escolar sustentável e acesso a mercados pela agricultura familiar, tendo atuado pela FAO - Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations, para o desenho da Rede de Alimentação Escolar Sustentável para América Latina e Caribe - RAES ALC, e pela FIAN Brasil, em projeto que relaciona o PNAE com o Direito Humano à Alimentação e Nutrição Adequadas. Atualmente é assessor na CEAGESP - Companhia de Entrepostos e Armazéns Gerais de São Paulo, com atuação na inclusão comercial da agricultura familiar e agroecológica. É mestre em desenvolvimento rural pelo Programa de Pós-graduação de Ciências Sociais em Desenvolvimento, Agricultura e Sociedade da Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (CPDA/UFRRJ).
