Matheus Siqueira Barros

Graduated in Environmental Engineering (2016) from the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI), participated in 2 Scientific Initiation projects at UNIFEI, Computer Engineering area (2011) and the second in Geoprocessing (2013). Also in the baccalaureate he was part of several extension projects as Cultural Producer of the Itajubense Festival of Culture and Art (FICA), Treasurer of the Academic Center for Environmental Engineering (CAEA) and Coordinator of the Musicalizando Project, of the Cultural University Group (UC). In 2014 she participated in the Science Without Borders program, a program funded by the Higher Education Personnel Coordination Coordination - Brazil (CAPES) where she majored in Geo-Space Science at Humboldt State University, CA, USA and a research internship at Purdue University, IN , USA. In 2016, he also worked at the Sapucaí River Basin Committee as a geoprocessing analyst and also worked as a WebMaps developer at the Civil Police of Minas Gerais and at Nucleo Travessia, MG. He currently works with research and extension projects related to geoprocessing themes, involving spatial analysis, remote sensing, cartography, and geo-informatics.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Ambiental pela Universidade Federal de Itajubá (Brasil), especialização em Geoprocessamento pela Humboldt State University (EUA) e mestrado em tecnologias especiais por 3 universidades consorciadas: Universitat Jaume I (Espanha), Universität Münster (Alemanha) e Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal) Atualmente trabalha com projetos de pesquisa e extensão ligados aos temas de geoprocessamento, envolvendo análise espacial, sensoriamento remoto, cartografia, e geo informática.
