GABRIEL ALVES VASILJEVIC MENDES

Doutor em Ciência da Computação, Mestre em Sistemas e Computação e Bacharel em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Graduou-se com láurea, recebendo a Medalha de Mérito Acadêmico. Foi bolsista do Programa de Educação Tutorial (PET), do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq), e da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), desenvolvendo pesquisas com ênfase em Interfaces Cérebro-Computador. Atualmente trabalha como Professor Substituto do Magistério Superior pelo Departamento de Informática e Matemática Aplicada (DIMAp), da UFRN. Também é pesquisador do Grupo de Pesquisa em Artefatos Físicos de Interação (PAIRG/UFRN).

Gabriel Vasiljevic has a Ph.D. in Computer Science, M.Sc. in Systems and Computing and B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). During his undergraduate course, he received a scholarship from the Computer Science Tutoring Education Program (PET-CC) and graduated with honors, receiving the Medal of Academic Merit. He also received a scholarship from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) during his Master's course and from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) during his doctoral course, developing researches focused on Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI). He is currently an Assistant Professor working with the Department of Informatics and Applied Mathematics (DIMAp/UFRN) and researcher of the Physical Artifacts of Interaction Research Group (PAIRG/UFRN).
