Suelen da Silva Gomes Dias

Graduated in Biological Sciences with specialization in Biotechnology from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro (2016). Master in Cellular and Molecular Biology with emphasis in Immunology and Pharmacology from Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (2018) and PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology with emphasis in Immunology and Pharmacology from Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (2022). She is currently doing a Post-Doctorate in the Immunopharmacology laboratory at IOC/FIOCRUZ by CAPES. She works in the line of research involving the participation of lipid metabolism during the pathogenesis of ZIKV and SARS-CoV-2. She also worked on extension project, mainly aimed at the dissemination and popularization of science, as well as mentoring students in the Scientific Vocation Program and in Scientific Initiation. She has experience in the area of General Biology, with an emphasis on General Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry and Virology.

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas com habilitação em Biotecnologia pelo Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio de Janeiro (2016). Mestre em Biologia Celular e Molecular com ênfase em Imunologia e Farmacologia pela Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (2018) e doutorado em Biologia Celular e Molecular com ênfase em Imunologia e Farmacologia pela Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (2022). Atualmente realiza o Pós-doutorado no laboratório de Imunofarmacologia no IOC/FIOCRUZ pela CAPES. Atua na linha de pesquisa envolvendo a participação do metabolismo lipídico durante a patogênese do ZIKV e do SARS-CoV-2. Também atuou em projeto de extensão, visando principalmente a divulgação e a popularização da ciência, bem como, orientou alunos no Programa de Vocação Científica e na Iniciação científica. Tem experiência na área de Biologia Geral, com ênfase em Biologia Geral, Imunologia, Bioquímica e Virologia.
