Cristão Católico Apostólico Romano Mariano. Graduado em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade do Oeste Paulista em 1999, realizou residência em Doenças Infecciosas dos Animais pela Universidade Estadual Paulista, campus de Botucatu entre os anos de 2000 a 2002. Mestre em Ciências (Biologia da Relação Patógeno-Hospedeiro) pelo Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas da Universidade de São Paulo em 2004 e Doutor em Medicina Veterinária (Epidemiologia Experimental Aplicada Às Zoonoses) pela Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia da Universidade de São Paulo em 2006. Realizou estágio Pós-Doutoral na University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston entre 2013 e 2014, onde desenvolveu estudos sobre a caracterização e diagnostico laboratorial de erliquioses em animais e humanos. Atuou como Pesquisador científico na Agência Paulista de Tecnologia dos Agronegócios entre 2005 e 2008. Atualmente é Professor Associado IV da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso. Responsável pelo Laboratório de Virologia e Rickettsioses do Hospital Veterinário da UFMT. É orientador de mestrado e doutorado do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Veterinárias da UFMT e de residência uni-profissional em Medicina Veterinária do Hospital Veterinário da UFMT. Atualmente participa como membro pesquisador do Coordinating Research on Emerging Arboviral Threats Encompassing the Neotropics (CREATE-NEO) financiado pelo National Institutes of Health (NIH-USA), da Rede Nacional de Vigilância de Vírus em Animais Silvestres (PREVIR) e do INCT-POX. Tem experiência na área de Medicina Veterinária, com ênfase em Medicina Veterinária Preventiva, atuando principalmente nos temas Doenças Infecciosas dos animais e doenças transmitidas por artrópodes.
Marian Roman Catholic Apostolic Christian. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidade do Oeste Paulista in 1999, he held a residency in Infectious Diseases of Animals at the Universidade Estadual Paulista, Botucatu campus between 2000 and 2002. Master in Science (Biology of the Pathogen-Host Relationship) from the Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas from the University of São Paulo in 2004 and PhD in Veterinary Medicine (Experimental Epidemiology Applied to Zoonoses) from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics of the University of São Paulo in 2006. Postdoctoral internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2013 and 2014, where he developed studies on the characterization and laboratory diagnosis of ehrlichiosis in animals and humans. Between 2005 and 2008, he served as a Scientific Researcher at the Paulista Agency for Agribusiness Technology. He is currently Associate Professor IV at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Mato Grosso. Responsible for the Laboratory of Virology and Rickettsiosis at the Veterinary Hospital of UFMT. He is a master's and doctoral advisor of the Graduate Program in Veterinary Sciences at UFMT and uni-professional residency in Veterinary Medicine at the Veterinary Hospital of UFMT. He currently participates as a research member of the Coordinating Research on Emerging Arboviral Threats Encompassing the Neotropics (CREATE-NEO) funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH-USA), the National Network for Virus Surveillance in Wild Animals (PREVIR) and the INCT-POX . He has experience in the area of Veterinary Medicine, with an emphasis on Preventive Veterinary Medicine, working mainly on Infectious Diseases of animals and diseases transmitted by arthropods.
