Eduardo Alberto Borges da Silva

Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1997), MSc in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2000) and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2004), internship with the Laboratory of Separation and Reaction Engineering (LSRE) of the Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto (Portugal-FEUP). Conducted postdoctoral studies at LSRE/FEUP during the period from May 2005 to November 2007. Assistant Researcher in the Laboratory Associate LSRE / LCM in Portugal from 2007 to 2011. Since 2011, work as senior scientist at Novozymes Latin America Ltda in Araucaria (PR). Has experience in Chemical Engineering, with emphasis in Biotechnology and Separation Operations, acting on the following topics: enzymatic applications, mass transfer, adsorption / reaction, biorefinery, mathematical modeling

Possui graduação em Engenharia Química pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1997), mestrado em Engenharia Química pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2000) e doutorado em Engenharia Química pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2004) com estágio no Laboratório de Engenharia de Separação e Reacção (LSRE) da Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP-Portugal). Realizou pós-doutorado no LSRE/FEUP no período de maio/2005 a novembro/2007. Foi investigador auxiliar no Laboratório Associado LSRE/LCM em Portugal entre 2007 e 2011. Desde 2011, é Cientista Sênior na Novozymes Latin America Ltda em Araucária (PR).Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Química, com ênfase em Biotecnologia e Operações de Separação e Mistura, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: aplicações enzimáticas, transferência de massa, adsorção/reacção, biorefinaria, modelagem matemática.
