Maria Luiza Abath Escorel Borges

Doutoranda em Engenharia Civil com ênfase em Gerenciamento e Tecnologia na Construção pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Civil da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), com período sanduíche na University of Huddersfield (Inglaterra, Reino Unido). Mestrado em Engenharia Civil com ênfase em Processos Construtivos pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Civil da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). MBA em Plataforma BIM pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Educação Continuada (INBEC).Graduação em Engenharia Civil pelo Centro Universitário de João Pessoa (UNIPÊ). Atuou na Atlantis Construtora, onde possuía funções de fiscalização e acompanhamento de serviços, controle de pagamentos e implementação da filosofia Lean nos processos construtivos. Atualmente faz parte do Laboratório de Gerenciamento da Construção (LAGERCON). Sua principal área de pesquisa é Gestão da construção, com foco em tecnologia, BIM, Lean Construction e o uso de algoritmos computacionais.

PhD candidate in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Construction Management and Technology at the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with sandwich period at the University of Huddersfield (England, UK). MSc in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Construction Processes from the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). MBA in BIM Platform by the Brazilian Institute of Continuing Education (INBEC), Bachelor in Civil Engineering by the University Center of João Pessoa (UNIPÊ). He worked in Atlantis Construtora, where he had functions of supervision and monitoring of services, payment control and implementation of the Lean philosophy in construction processes. Currently he is part of the Laboratory of Construction Management (LAGERCON). His main area of research is Construction Management, with a focus on technology, BIM, Lean Construction and the use of computer algorithms.
