Fernandha Batista Lafayette

Graduated in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2009), held six months exchange at the University of Missouri - USA (2007), a master's degree in Civil Engineering - Water Resources and Environmental Technology at the Federal University of Pernambuco (2012). As an undergraduate and master's degree, she was monitoring in the area of ​​Water Resources. Held internship in the Department of Water Resources of the State of Pernambuco and CPRM - Geological Survey of Brazil, Hydrology area applied to engineering. She worked in consulting firm in engineering, Projetec - Technical Projects Ltd., and has worked on the development of scientific articles on the following topics:. Semiarid, alluvium, groundwater and spatial variability, hydrological modeling, and evaporation, climate change and rural sanitation. She worked at the Urban Maintenance Directorate, managing urban drainage, paving and other actions at the Urban Maintenance and Cleaning Company of Recife (2013 - 2018), taught classes as a substitute teacher at UFPE, between Jan / 2018 and June / 2019, at civil engineering area. She currently manages the Secretariat of Infrastructure and Water Resources of the State of Pernambuco, chairs the State Water Resources Council, and is the second alternate member of the National Water Resources Council.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2009), realizou intercâmbio semestral na University of Missouri ? USA (2007), possui mestrado em Engenharia Civil - Recursos Hídricos e Tecnologia Ambiental pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2012) e faz Doutorado em Engenharia Civil - Recursos Hídricos e Tecnologia Ambiental pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (previsão de conclusão: julho/2021) . Durante a graduação e o mestrado, foi monitora na área de Recursos Hídricos. Realizou estágio na Secretaria de Recursos hídricos do Estado de Pernambuco e na CPRM ? Serviço Geológico do Brasil, na área de Hidrologia aplicada à Engenharia. Atuou em empresa de consultoria em engenharia, Projetec - Projetos Técnicos Ltda., e tem trabalhado no desenvolvimento de artigos científicos nos seguintes temas: semiárido, aluvião, águas subterrâneas e variabilidade espacial, modelagem hidrológica, e evaporação, mudanças climáticas e saneamento rural. Atuou na Diretoria de Manutenção Urbana, gerenciando ações de drenagem urbana, pavimentação e outras ações na Empresa de Manutenção e Limpeza Urbana do Recife (2013 - 2018), ministrou aulas como professora substituta na UFPE, entre jan/2018 e junho/2019, na área de Recursos Hídricos - engenharia civil. Atualmente gere a Secretaria de Infraestrutura e Recursos Hídricos do Estado de Pernambuco, preside o Conselho Estadual de Recursos Hídricos, e é segunda suplente do Conselho Nacional de Recursos Hídricos.
