Gabriel Kalil Rocha Pereira

Graduated in Dentistry (UFSM, Santa Maria, RS) (2007-2011), Master (2012-2014), Doctorate (2014-2016) (with sandwich period at Dental Material Sciences Dept., Academisch Centrum Tandheelkunde Amsterdam, Netherlands, 2015 -2016) and postdoctoral fellow (2016-2017) in Dental Sciences (Dental Prosthesis) by UFSM. He served as a professor and researcher at the Faculty of Dentistry of IMED-Passo Fundo (2017-2019). Currently (since 2019) he is adjunct professor A level 2 at Dep. of Restorative Dentistry (Dental Prosthesis) at UFSM, and permanent professor at the Postgraduate Program in Dental Sciences (PPGCO) at UFSM. At the PPGCO: i) he is currently the coordinator of the PPG, beginning his term on January 4, 2022; ii) performs activities in the disciplines of Adhesion, Scientific Writing, Ceramics, Rehabilitation of Endodontically Treated Teeth, Internships in Oriented Teaching; and Elaboration of Dissertations/Thesis; III) is part of the managing committee of the PPGCO Biomaterials Research Laboratory; IV) Participates in the 3 teaching WGs of the PPGCO (Self-assessment; Teaching production; and Internationalization). Internationalization actions: i) leads research on adhesion and fatigue testing of ceramics with the active collaboration of foreign researchers (Prof. Dr. Cornelis Johanees Kleverlaan, Academisch Centrum Tandheelkunde Amsterdam, Netherlands; Prof. Dr. Nicola Scotti, Università degli Studi di Torino, Italy, and Prof. Dr. Marco Cícero Bottino, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA), having several publications together; ii) as a researcher in the Intelligent Materials project of the CAPES-PrInt UFSM Program. He currently coordinates the research support projects FAPERGS-ARD 10/2020, FAPERGS-PqG 05/2019, FIPE/UFSM Senior 03/2022, IC UNIFIED 016/2022 (PROBIC/FAPERGS, and PIBIC/CNPQ). Possui graduação em Odontologia (UFSM, Santa Maria, RS) (2007-2011), mestrado (2012-2014), doutorado (2014-2016) (com período sanduíche no Dental Material Sciences Dept., Academisch Centrum Tandheelkunde Amsterdam, Holanda, 2015-2016) e pós-doutorado (2016-2017) em Ciências Odontológicas (Prótese Dentária) pela UFSM. Atuou como docente e pesquisador na Faculdade de Odontologia da IMED-Passo Fundo (2017-2019).
