Guido Muzio Candido is a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (POLI-USP). Since 2011, he has participated in the thesis defense committees of the MBA course in Management and Engineering of Products and Services at PECE (Continuing Education Program) at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. He is currently a Monograph Advisor in the same MBA course at the University of São Paulo. PECE Poli since 2016. Since 2018 he has been a Research and Development collaborator at the Automotive Engineering Center at POLI-USP. He has published automotive technical articles at the Congresses of the "Society of Automotive Engineering" (SAE), the "International Journal of Automotive Technology Management" (IJATM), the Production Engineering Archives (PEA), the Brazilian Congress of Innovation and Product Development Management (CBGDP), and the Product Management and Development Journal (PMD). He has experience in Quality Engineering and New Product Development Engineering in the automotive industry since 1997. From 2015 to 2018, he worked as Coordinator of Automotive and Civil Armored Vehicles projects at EDAG do Brasil Ltda. Guido holds a Professional Master's degree in Automotive Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, USP (2005), a postgraduate degree in Automotive Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, FEI (1998), and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Mauá School of Engineering (1997). He worked in the Quality Engineering of Automotive Suppliers and Advanced Engineering Coordinator at Grupo PSA in Brazil (2007 to 2015), worked as a development engineer for new products at General Motors in Brazil (1997 to 2005) and Ford Motor Company (2006 and 2007). ). Guido is proficient in English (advanced), French (intermediate), Italian (intermediate), German (elementary), Spanish (elementary), and Portuguese (native). Areas of expertise: project development, process management and quality engineering in automotive industry; product and process development in vehicle civil armoring (NIJ-IIIA level).
Guido Muzio Candido, é doutorando em Engenharia Mecânica pela Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (POLI-USP). Desde 2011 participa das bancas de defesa de tese do curso de MBA em Gestão e Engenharia de Produtos e Serviços no PECE (Programa de Educação Continuada) da Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo e atualmente é Professor orientador de Monografia no mesmo curso de MBA do PECE Poli desde 2016. Desde 2018 é colaborador em Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento no Centro de Engenharia Automotiva na POLI-USP. Guido é graduado como Mestre Profissional em Engenharia Automotiva da Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo, USP (2005), é pós-graduado em Engenharia Mecânica Automobilística na Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial, FEI (1998) e formou-se em Engenharia Mecânica Plena pela Escola de Engenharia Mauá (1997). Trabalhou na Engenharia da Qualidade de Fornecedores Automotivos e Coordenador de Engenharia Avançada no Grupo PSA no Brasil (2007 a 2015), atuou como engenheiro de desenvolvimento de novos produtos da General Motors no Brasil (1997 a 2005) e Ford Motor Company (2006 e 2007). Guido tem proficiência nos idiomas inglês (avançado), francês (intermediário), italiano (intermediário), alemão (básico), espanhol (básico) e português (nativo). Áreas de atuação: desenvolvimento de projeto, gerenciamento de processo e engenharia da qualidade na indústria automotiva; desenvolvimento de produto e processo em blindagem civil veicular (nível NIJ-IIIA).
