Graduada em Museologia pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (1994), concluiu o doutorado em Estudo do Património - Museologia, pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto (FLUP), Portugal (2022) com a tese intitulada "Preservação de estruturas em madeira de suporte das coberturas de edifícios históricos: A radiação UV-C no controlo de colonizações fúngicas". Concluiu o mestrado em Arquitetura e Urbanismo, concentração em Conservação Arquitetônica, pela Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade Federal da Bahia (2005) cuja dissertação esta intitulada " Avaliação biológica e mecânica do ataque de fungos e identificação taxonômica das madeiras de construção da Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição da Praia, Salvador, Bahia". Atualmente, é professor assistente na Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia com atuação nas disciplinas de Conservação Preventiva de Bens Culturais. Com experiência na área da Conservação, principalmente nos seguintes temas: conservação preventiva de materiais de natureza celulósica, análises microbiológicas de madeiras, tratamentos preventivos auxiliares com uso da radiação ultra violeta.
Graduated in Museology from the Federal University of Bahia (1994), she completed her PhD in Heritage Studies - Museology, from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (FLUP), Portugal (2022) with the thesis entitled "Preservation of wooden support structures of the roofs of historic buildings: UV-C radiation in the control of fungal colonization". Completed a master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism, concentration in Architectural Conservation, by the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal University of Bahia (2005) whose dissertation is entitled " Biological and mechanical evaluation of the attack of fungi and taxonomic identification of the construction woods of the Church of Our Lady of Conceição da Praia, Salvador, Bahia". Currently, she is an assistant professor at the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia, working in the disciplines of Preventive Conservation of Cultural Assets. With experience in the field of Conservation, mainly in the following subjects: preventive conservation of materials of a cellulosic nature, microbiological analyzes of wood, auxiliary preventive treatments with the use of ultraviolet radiation.
