He is a Tenured Professor at the Department of Political Science at the Federal University of Pernambuco and Coordinator of the bachelor?s in political science. Awarded with Honorable Mention in CAPES Thesis Prize (2016). He is also a permanent professor of the Professional Master's Degree in Public Policy (UFPE), of which he was vice-coordinator (2020-2021), in addition to belonging to the permanent staff of the Academic Master's Degree in Political Science at UFCG, being one of its founders and of which he was coordinator (2018-2019). He acts as a collaborating professor at the PPGCP / UFPE. He holds a PhD in Political Science from UFPE, with a sandwich period at UFMG. He is a Researcher at the Center for Legislative Studies at UFMG and at the PRAETOR-Research Group on Judiciary, Politics and Society (UFPE). From September 2015 to July 2019 he was Tenured Professor at the Federal University of Campina Grande. In 2013 he was Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science at UFMG. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (2005) and as a Lawyer he has worked in Business and Taxing Law. He holds a Specialization in Taxing Law from the Brazilian Institute of Taxing Studies-IBET (2007). He perfected himself in Quantitative Methodology at UFMG (2008 and 2012) and in Qualitative Methodology at IPSA-USP (2013 and 2017) and EMAS-UFPE (2015). He is a reviewer for Revista Política Hoje (UFPE), he was a reviewer for Revista Direito GV-FGV and a reviewer (ad hoc) for Revistas de Direito, and Sociologia e Política, both from UFPR. Currently develops comparative politics research on judicial institutions in Latin America using jurimetry and comparative qualitative analysis (QCA). He is interested in the following topics: judicial review, judicial institutions, executive-legislative-judiciary relations, comparative politics, and data science. É Professor Adjunto no Departamento de Ciência Política da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco e Coordenador da Graduação em Ciência Política. Recebeu Menção Honrosa no Prêmio Capes de Teses (2016). Também é professor permanente do Mestrado Profissional em Políticas Públicas (UFPE), do qual foi vice-coordenador (2020-2021), além de pertencer ao quadro permanente do Mestrado Acadêmico em Ciência Política da UFCG, sendo um de seus fundadores e do qual foi coordenador (2018-2019). Atua como professor colaborador do PPGCP/UFPE. Possui Doutorado em Ciência Política pela UFPE, com período sanduíche na UFMG. É Pesquisador do Centro de Estudos Legislativos da UFMG e do PRAETOR - Grupo de Pesquisa sobre Poder Judiciário, Política e Sociedade (UFPE). De setembro de 2015 a julho de 2019 foi Professor Adjunto da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande. Em 2013 foi Professor Substituto no Departamento de Ciência Política da UFMG. Possui Bacharelado em Direito (2005) e como Advogado atuou no Direito Empresarial e Tributário. Possui Especialização em Direito Tributário pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos Tributários - IBET (2007). Aperfeiçoou-se em Metodologia Quantitativa pela UFMG (2008 e 2012) e em Metodologia Qualitativa pela IPSA-USP (2013 e 2017) e EMAS-UFPE (2015). É revisor da Revista Política Hoje (UFPE), foi revisor da Revista Direito GV-FGV e revisor (ad hoc) das Revistas de Direito, e de Sociologia e Política, ambas da UFPR. Atualmente desenvolve pesquisa em política comparada sobre instituições judiciais na América Latina utilizando jurimetria e análise qualitativa comparada (QCA).
