Mauricio Munhoz Ferraz

Atual secretário de estado de ciência, tecnologia e inovação de Mato Grosso e professor de economia da Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso, Unemat. Mestre em sociologia pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso, com o tema: O avanço do agronegócio e o índice de crescimento sustentável dos municípios(livro publicado pela editora Carlini & Caniato, em 2020). Foi diretor do IPF, Instituto de Pesquisas da Fecomércio MT, membro do grupo de pesquisas: Constitucionalismos, Democracias e Políticas Públicas, CNPQ e UNEMAT e coordenador do GEPEA, grupo de estudos e pesquisa em econômica e agronegócio da UNEMAT . Foi o vencedor do Premio Celso Furtado, concedido pelo Ministério da Integração Nacional do Brasil, em 2018, categoria Faixa de Fronteira e do Premio Internacional Empreendedorismo Consciente, concedido pelo Banco da Amazônia,em 2008. Concursado como agente arrecadador na Secretaria de Estado de Fazenda de Mato Grosso, em 1994, e exonerado por iniciativa própria em 2007.

Master in Sociology from the Federal University of Mato Grosso, with the theme: The advancement of agribusiness and the sustainable growth index of the municipalities (book published by Carlini & Caniato, in 2020). He is currently Deputy Secretary of State for Infrastructure in Mato Grosso, Professor of Political Economy at the State University of Mato Grosso, UNEMAT, President of the Sectorial Chamber of International Relations of the Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso, Vice President of the Brazil-Russia Chamber of Commerce and member of the Metropolitan Governance Project in Brazil, of IPEA, Institute of Applied Economic Research, of the federal government and member of the research group: Constitutionalisms, Democracies and Public Policies, CNPQ and University of Mato Grosso. He was the winner of the Celso Furtado Prize, awarded by the Ministry of National Integration of Brazil, in 2018, category of Frontier Strip and the International Prize for Conscious Entrepreneurship, granted by Banco da Amazônia, in 2008. Tendered as a collection agent at the State Secretariat of Finance Mato Grosso, in 1994, and exonerated on his own initiative in 2007.
