Roberto Azevedo Chagas

Escultor e Professor de artes visuais. É mestre em artes visuais PPGART/ UFSM (2015), Bacharel e Licenciado em Desenho e Plástica da UFSM (2006 e 2008). Atuou como docente na Faculdade UNILAGOS (Mangueirinha/PR) entre 2009 a 2011 e como professor substituto na UFSM entre 2012 a 2014 no curso de Artes Visuais.É fundador do grupo Arte Pública, que atua na área de artes visuais na região central do RS, com o qual organiza o Simpósio Internacional de Escultores de Santa Maria, que no ano de 2015 teve sua 4ª edição. Vem atuando em um circuito de simpósios de escultores, tendo obras públicas empraçadas na Argentina, Brasil, Bolivia, Chipre, Chile e Uruguay.
