André Luiz de Souza Garcia

Graduated in Electrical Engineering Emphasis in Telecommunications from the Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC Minas, 2005). Master of Science, area Microwave and Optoelectronics from the Aeronautical Institute of Technology (ITA, 2009). Visiting researcher at Zentrum für Halbleitertechnik und Optoelektronik (Center of Semiconductor Technology and Optoelectronics) Universität Duisburg-Essen, Duisburg - Germany (UDE, 2010-2013). Member of the Brasilian Microwave and Optoelectronics Society (SBMO). He has interest on the following topics: Photonic microwave, millimeter-wave and THz generation, nonlinear optics, optical frequency comb generation and Astrophotonics.
