Doutorando em Genética e Melhoramento de Plantas na University of Georgia. Mestre na mesma área pela ESALQ/USP, onde atuou no melhoramento de soja para a alimentação humana. Possui graduação em Engenharia Agronômica pela Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei com período sanduíche na University of Alberta no Canadá pelo programa Ciência sem Fronteiras.
MSc in Plant Breeding and Genetics at Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (USP/ESALQ). Graduated in Agricultural Engineering at Federal University of São João del-Rei (2014). Former intern at Embrapa Milho e Sorgo, where he worked in the development of Sweet Sorghum genotypes. In addition, he was a visiting student at the University of Alberta in Canada sponsored by the Science without Borders program, participating in Canola breeding projects at DuPont Pioneer. As an undergraduate researcher at EPAMIG, worked on nitrogen fertilization in irrigated Tanzania grass and Crop-Livestock-Forest systems.
