PhD in Archeology from the Università degli Studi di Ferrara, UNIFE - Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle-MNHN − International Doctorate in Quaternary and Prehistory (IDQP) - Ferrara FE, Italy. Title revalidated in Brazil by the University of São Paulo - USP. Researcher associated with the Pedro Ignácio Schmitz Archeology Laboratory (LAPIS/UNESC) and the Research Group on Archeology and Integrated Land Management Certified by UNESC and CNPq. Collaborating researcher at the Paleoenvironmental Research Center - NEPA-UNIOESTE, Paraná. Associate researcher at Instituto Terra e Memória (ITM) "Quaternary and Prehistory" Group at the Geosciences Center of the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Researcher at the Center for Paleoenvironmental Studies NEPA/Unioeste, campus Francisco Beltrão, Paraná. Post-doctorate in Stratigraphy and Micromorphology in archaeological sites of the Brazilian Southern Plateau by Unioeste, Paraná. Conducts Postdoctoral research in Geoarchaeology of tropical and subtropical contexts in the project "PRÉHISTOIRE SOUS LES TROPIQUES. Peuplements, adaptations, behaviors en milieu tropical et subtropical sur le temps long" by the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle-MNHN, Paris, France. And he is currently a professor at the Universidade Federal de Pelotas, RS Brazil. He has experience in the field of History and Archeology, working mainly on the following topics: Geoarchaeology, Prehistoric Archaeology, Lithic Technology, Experimental Archeology and Heritage Education.

Atualmente é professor visitante no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Antropologia da Universidade Federal de Pelotas, RS, Brasil. Tem experiência na área de História e Arqueologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Geoarqueologia, Arqueologia Pré-Histórica, Tecnologia Lítica, Arqueologia Experimental e Educação Patrimonial.
