Doctor and Master in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Specialist in Management of Water, Environmental and Energy Resources from the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusofonia (UNILAB). Graduated in Biological Sciences from the State University of Ceará (UECE). He has experience with teaching, research and management of innovation projects. During graduation and post-graduation he worked with the prospecting of molecules from higher plants and seaweed, aiming at their application in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on coagulation, thrombosis, gastroprotection and toxicity events. He is currently a project manager at the Directorate of Innovation and Technologies (Ditec), located at the School of Public Health of Ceará (ESP / CE).

Durante a graduação e pós-graduação trabalhou com a prospecção de moléculas de plantas superiores e de algas marinhas, visando sua aplicação na indústria farmacêutica com foco em eventos de coagulação, trombose, gastroproteção e toxicidade. Atualmente é gestor de projetos da Diretoria de Inovação e Tecnologias (Ditec), localizado na Escola de Saúde Pública do Ceará (ESP/CE).
