Cesar Augusto Medina Sotomayor
César Augusto Medina Sotomayor received the Diploma from the Escuela Politécnica del Ejército (ESPE), Quito, Ecuador, in 2000, the M.Sc. degree from the Military Institute of Engineering (IME), Brazil and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), Brazil, in 2003 and 2009, respectively. From 2009 to 2014 and 2015 to 2016 he was a Post-Doctoral fellow at the Center for Studies in Telecommunications (CETUC) at PUC-Rio. In 2015 was a member of the technical staff of the INMETRO. He is now a researcher at the Acoustic Signal Processing Laboratory (LASP/IME). His areas of interest include digital communications theory and implementation, adaptive systems, array processing and acoustic, speech and music processing.
