Graduated in Sciences from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Languages Oswaldo Cruz (1980), Degree in Chemistry from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Languages Oswaldo Cruz (1980), Degree in Industrial Chemistry from the School of Chemistry Osvaldo Cruz (1982), Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (1993) and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (2001). He worked as researcher at the Institute for Technological Research of São Paulo from 1981 to 2014. Since 2014 assumed the position of Associate Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at FEI University. He has experience in chemical processes with emphasis on chemical reaction kinetics and catalysis, working on the following topics: catalytic processes, catalysts preparation, synthesis of zeolites and other inorganic materials, polymerization, organic synthesis, biodiesel, green chemistry, reactions of chemical grade silicon and PEM fuel cells.
Possui graduação em Ciências pela Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras Oswaldo Cruz (1980), graduação em Química pela Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras Oswaldo Cruz (1980), graduação em Química Industrial pela Escola Superior de Química Osvaldo Cruz (1982), mestrado em Engenharia Química pela Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (1993) e doutorado em Engenharia Química pela Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (2001).
Foi pesquisador do Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas do Estado de São Paulo de 1981 a 2014.
Em 2014 assumiu posição de Professor Adjunto no Depto de Engenharia Química do Centro Universitário FEI. Tem experiência na área de Processos Químicos, com ênfase em cinética química e catálise, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: processos catalíticos, catalisadores, síntese de zeólitas e outros materiais inorgânicos, polimerização, síntese orgânica, química verde reações do silicio grau químico e células a combustível do tipo PEM.
