Mauro Dias Silva Júnior

I am adjunct professor (Level II) at the Institute of Psychology, University of Brasilia and supervisor in the Graduate Program in Behavioral Sciences. PhD (2014) and Master (2009) in Theory and Research of Behavior by Universidade Federal of Pará State (UFPA), Psychologist (2011) and Bachelor in Psychology (2007) by UFPA. As part of my PhD, I studied at the University of Oxford under Professor PhD Robin Dunbar' supervision funded by CAPES sandwich PhD internship program (2011-2012). I work mainly on the following topics: evolution of social cognition, evolution of human sexual behavior and individual differences. My main research is in Evolutionary Psychology, especially the following topics: social cognition, group behavior, sociosexuality, relationship satisfaction, sexual coercion, adult attachment, antisocial personality, and social emotions. I am a member of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society (HBES), the Brazilian Society of Psychology (SBP), and the Latin American Network of Evolution of Human Mind, Behavior and Culture. Professor Adjunto II do Instituto de Psicologia, Universidade de Brasília e professor orientador no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências do Comportamento. Doutor (2014) e Mestre (2009) em Teoria e Pesquisa do Comportamento pela Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPa), Psicólogo (2011) e Bacharel em Psicologia (2007) pela UFPa. Realizou estágio Doutoral Sanduíche na University of Oxford sob orientação do Professor PhD Robin Dunbar (2011-2012). Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: evolução da cognição social, evolução do comportamento sexual humano e das diferenças individuais. Realiza pesquisas em Psicologia Evolucionista, principalmente os seguintes temas: cognição social, comportamento de grupos, sociossexualidade, satisfação no relacionamento, coerção sexual, apego adulto, personalidade antissocial, e emoções sociais.
