Flavia Leme de Almeida

PhD in Visual Arts in the Research Line Artistic Processes and Procedures from Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP Arts Institute (2018). Master (2009) and Bachelor (2003) in Visual Arts from the same institution. She is currently a professor at the Faculty of Visual Arts at UFG in the discipline of Ceramics and Sculpture. She was a professor of Ceramics in the Bachelor and Degree Courses in Plastic Arts at Escola Guignard - UEMG (2018-2021), where she also taught ceramic modeling classes in 2019 for the Extension Courses. She was a volunteer professor of ceramics at UNATI - Open University to the Third Age at the UNESP Institute of Arts (2015-16). She worked for 10 years at Sesc São Paulo (2007-2017) as a cultural animator in the area of ​​Visual Arts, in the organization, production and curatorship of exhibitions, courses and creativity workshops and educational coordination. She has experience in the field of Arts, with an emphasis on Ceramics, working mainly on the following topics: ceramics, sculpture, installation and Latin American women artists. Professora Adjunta na Faculdade de Artes Visuais da UFG na disciplina de Cerâmica e Escultura Contemporânea. Doutora em Artes Visuais na Linha de Pesquisa Processos e Procedimentos Artísticos pela Universidade Estadual Paulista - Instituto de Artes da UNESP (2018). Mestre (2009) e Bacharel (2003) em Artes Visuais pela mesma instituição. Foi docente da disciplina de Cerâmica nos Cursos de Bacharelado e Licenciatura em Artes Plásticas na Escola Guignard - UEMG (2018-2021), onde também ministrou aulas de modelagem em cerâmica em 2019 para os Cursos de Extensão. Foi professora voluntária de cerâmica na UNATI - Universidade Aberta à Terceira Idade no Instituto de Artes da UNESP (2015-16). Atuou por 10 anos no Sesc São Paulo (2007-2017) como animadora cultural na área de Artes Visuais, na organização, produção e curadoria das exposições, dos cursos e oficinas de criatividade e coordenação dos educativos. Tem experiência na área de Artes, com ênfase em Cerâmica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: cerâmica, escultura, instalação e mulheres artistas latino americanas.
