Doutora em Ensino, Filosofia e História das Ciências na Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA). Possui Mestrado em Regulação da Indústria de Energia pela UNIFACS e graduação em Economia pela UFBA. Atualmente é professora de ensino superior, médio e técnico do Instituto Federal da Bahia - Simões Filho. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Regulação e Organização Industrial, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Formação docente, Regulação e Introdução à Economia.
