Mariá Cristina Vasconcelos Nascimento Rosset

Associate Professor 40h/DE at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA. She holds a PhD from the Graduate Program in Computing and Computational Mathematics at the University of São Paulo, having her thesis funded by FAPESP. From March to October 2020, she was a visiting professor at HEC/Montreal, with BPE/FAPESP. Acted as deputy coordinator of the Graduate Program in Computer Science (2012-2015) and as coordinator of that same program (2016-2019). She is a reviewer of journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Information Sciences, Computers and Operations Research, Computers & Operations Research, Applied Soft Computing, IEEE in Evolutionary Computation, among many others. She is associate editor of the journal Expert Systems with Applications and ad hoc consultant at FAPESP, CNPq. He has a research productivity scholarship from CNPq in the area of ​​Production Engineering. His research focuses on the area of ​​Combinatorial Optimization combining it with Data Science techniques.

É doutora pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Computação e Matemática Computacional da Universidade de São Paulo, tendo sua tese financiada pela FAPESP. De março a outubro de 2020, foi professora visitante da HEC/Montreal, com BPE/FAPESP. Atuou como vice-coordenadora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Computação (2012-2015) e como coordenadora desse mesmo programa (2016-2019). É editora associada do periódico Expert Systems with Applications e consultora ad hoc da FAPESP, CNPq. É revisora de periódicos como European Journal of Operational Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Information Sciences, Computers and Operations Research, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Applied Soft Computing, IEEE in Evolutionary Computation, dentre diversos outros outros. Sua pesquisa concentra-se na área de Otimização Combinatória combinando-a com técnicas de Ciência de Dados.
