Victor Faria Seabra

Dr Seabra received his medical degree from Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Sao Paulo, in 2000, and subsequently completed his Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology clinical training at Hospital das Clinicas da Universidade de Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil. He also received a Doctor of Science degree from the Federal University of Sao Paulo. From 2008 to 2010, Dr Seabra served in Clinical Research Fellowship, sponsored by the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) at St Elizabeth's Medical Center/TUFTs University, Boston, MA, work with Dr Bertrand L. Jaber study group where he worked with biomarkers in Acute Renal Failure and Meta-analysis. Currently, he is an attending at the nephrology division of University of Sao Paulo, Hospital das Clinicas, Brazil and at the Dialysis Unit at Albert Einstein Hospital, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Graduado em Medicina pela Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (USP), realizou residencia em Clinica Medica e Nefrologia, ambas no Hospital das Clinicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP) e Doutorado em Ciências pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP). De 2008 a 2010 realizou treinamento em pesquisa clínica (clinical reasearch fellowship), financiado pela Sociedade Internacional de Nefrologia (ISN), junto ao grupo do Dr. Bertrand L. Jaber no St Elizabeth's Medical Center/TUFTs University trabalhando com biomarcadores na Insuficiencia Renal Aguda e com Metanálise. Atualmente trabalha na disciplina de nefrologia do HCFMUSP e na Unidade de Hemodiálise do Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.
