Aloisio Pereira da Silva

Aloisio Pereira da Silva is Founder and CEO at INFRACITIES - Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility and creator of the INFRACITIES® System. Working since 1997 in the areas of transportation and infrastructure, with an emphasis on utility engineering, on the design, field construction, and construction supervision phases, as well as in research and teaching activities. Dr. Aloisio is also a speaker, present at the most relevant events and courses in the world, in the area of Infrastructure, Mobility, Transportation and Smart Cities in Latin America, USA, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, showing international recognition for his work, including an international agreement for the development of his research with one of the most renowned infrastructure institute in the Europe. His research in utility engineering has innovative focus, and it incorporates integrated underground facilities management elements, urban planning, and sustainability, creating a proposal for a New Generation of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility for Smart Cities, generating numerous benefits to Government, concessionaires and mainly to the population, bringing great reductions in construction, operation, and maintenance costs, in addition to a strong environmental impact, with a resilient infrastructure system, prepared for severe weather actions, and with the concept of "Zero Waste", using urban waste as raw material and not generating waste during its useful life. Dr. Aloisio has exercised leadership in the engineering area, acting on several committees and organizations, as Counselor holder of the specialized chamber of civil engineering at Regional Engineering and Agronomy Council (CREA-SC), that composes the Federal Engineering and Agronomy Council from the Federal government and Coordinator of the Accessibility Committee since 2015, and as Coordinator of the CREA-SC Accessibility Commission for the past 2 years. He also acts as a member of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Working Group from the Brazil-Germany Chamber. Due to his professional experience, combined with research activities, Dr. Aloisio has been active both in revising and creating Brazilian Standards, such as Member reviewer at Brazilian Standard ABNT NBR 12712 - Project Transmission Systems and Fuel Gas Distribution and member to the commission CE 09:302-01-Transport Systems and Fuel Gas Distribution, and National committee member - ABNT/CB18 - CE-18: 600.25 - Study committee for precast concrete utility corridor and national committee member who created the Brazilian Standard ABNT NBR 16584: 2017 - Precast concrete technical gallery to share and order the underground systems. Dr. Aloisio worked at the Public Works Department of Foz do Iguaçu City, he was Director of Engineering at the Housing Company of Foz do Iguaçu, Construction Manager of the Refúgio Bela Vista Park - ITAIPU, and since 2006, as Senior Assembling and Construction Engineer at Santa Catarina Gas Company (currently licensed). From 2015 to 2018, was invited to work in the State Secretary of Planning- SUDERF, to act in the Technical Board, through an act of the Governor of the Santa Catarina State. He also works in the areas of research and teaching, where he was a professor for Civil Engineering, Architecture and Postgraduate courses in City Management at UDC University Center, and developing partnerships with research institutes, universities, and public and private companies for the development of research in the area.

Aloisio Pereira da Silva é Engenheiro Civil pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá, MBA em Administração pela Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná, Mestre em Construção Civil pela Universidade Federal do Paraná, Doutor em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina e Pesquisador Visitante no Texas A & M Transportation Institute -U.S. Pesquisador no Programa de Pós-Doutorado "USP CIDADES GLOBAIS" do Instituto de Estudos Avançados (IEA) da USP. Conselheiro Titular da Câmara Especializada de Engenharia Civil do CREA-SC e Coordenador da Comissão de Acessibilidade do CREA-SC por dois mandatos. É membro do Comitê Técnico ABNT ISO/ TC 268, (https://www.iso.org/committee/656906.html) e da CEE-268 - Comissão de Estudos Especiais sobre Cidades e Comunidades Sustentáveis (https://www.iso.org/member/1579.html ), que desenvolve normas nacionais e internacionais relacionadas a Cidades e comunidades sustentáveis e Cidades Inteligentes. Membro revisor da Norma Brasileira ABNT NBR 12712 ? Projeto de sistemas de transmissão e distribuição de gás combustível e membro da Comissão CE 09: 302-01 ? Comissão de Estudo de Sistema de Transporte e Distribuição de Gás Combustível ? do Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo, Gás e Biocombustíveis (IBP) e Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT). Membro do Comitê Nacional CE-18:600.25 ? Comissão de Estudo de Galerias Técnicas de Concreto e participou na criação da norma ABNT NBR 16584/2017 ? Galeria técnica pré-moldada em concreto para compartilhamento de infraestrutura e ordenamento do subsolo. Atuou junto ao ITE - Institute of Transportation Engineers - U.S., e do ITE Advocacy Committee, que orienta na formação de legislação referente questões de Transporte, mobilidade e da segurança nos EUA. Dr. Aloisio é Fundador e CEO da INFRACITIES - Infraestrutura e Mobilidade Sustentável e criador do Sistema INFRACITIES®. Atua desde 1997 na área de infraestrutura, com ênfase em engenharia de serviços públicos, nas fases de projeto, construção e supervisão, bem como em atividades de pesquisa e ensino. Também é palestrante, presente nos eventos e cursos mais relevantes do mundo, na área de Infraestrutura, Mobilidade, Transporte e Cidades Inteligentes na América Latina, EUA, Europa, Oriente Médio e Ásia, denotando reconhecimento internacional por seu trabalho, incluindo um acordo internacional para o desenvolvimento de sua pesquisa com um dos institutos de infraestrutura mais renomados da Europa. É professor de pós-graduação nos cursos de especialização em ?Infraestrutura Urbana? e ?Cidades Inteligentes? pelo IPOS ? Instituto de Pós Graduação. Atuou na Secretaria de Obras de Foz do Iguaçu e na Usina Hidrelétrica ITAIPU como Gerente na construção do Refúgio Biológico Bela Vista. Atuou também como Diretor de Engenharia na Companhia de Habitação de Foz do Iguaçu (COHAFOZ) e no Centro Universitário UDC como Professor Orientador de TCC (Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso) nos Cursos de Engenharia Civil e Arquitetura e Urbanismo e na Pós-Graduação em Gestão de Cidades, nas disciplinas de Gestão de Cidades e Gestão de Planejamento Urbano, e na implantação e coordenação de laboratórios do Centro de Tecnologia: Materiais de Construção, Tecnologia de Concreto e Tecnologia de Construção / Canteiro Experimental. Desde 2006 é Engenheiro de Construção e Montagem Sênior na Companhia de Gás de Santa Catarina-SCGÁS. De 2015 a 2018, trabalhou na Secretaria de Estado de Planejamento - SUDERF, atuando na Diretoria Técnica, por meio de ato do Governador do Estado de Santa Catarina.
