After receiving my Ph.D in physics and completing 6 years of specialized postdoctoral research in material science/physics, in my current position I oversee projects related with education and transfer of knowledge from the academic sector to the technological sector in Argentina. I am involved in two projects with technological interests: i) in telecommunication systems, microwave and RF components; and ii) in the nuclear reactors program with emphasis in nuclear radiation detection devices. In both cases I collaborate closer with telecommunication engineers and nuclear engineers that are committed with the development of these two projects. Specifically, I?m working in the two following research lines.# In the field of magnetism and microwave characterization (Bruker spectrometer in X/Q-band, and broadband vector network analyzer), weare developing novel materials for filters, circulators, isolators and resonators - exploring the implementation of the magneto-electric coupling effect, combining piezoelectric and magnetostrictive materials.# In the field of radiation detection and sensing (scintillating nanostructure materials for neutron detection), we are developing novel materials for radiation detection that can be implemented into the nuclear reactor RA10 (30 MW thermal power reactor), currently under construction. Main partners: National Commission of Atomic Energy (CNEA) and INVAP.
