Edecio Armbruster de Moraes

Graduated in Medicine at the Fundação do ABC (1975), post graduated in Human Medical Genetics at the Human Genetics Institute of University of Göttingen Germany (1981-1984), Ph.d. in Human Genetics at the Humangenetics Institute of the Bayeriche Universität Würzburg Germany (1984) and Post Doctor by Professor Dr. Harald zur Hausen (Nobel of Medicine 2008) at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), Heidelberg, Germany (1992-1996). Actualy is Assistent Professor at the Genetics Discipline of the Medicine Faculty of ABC, Assistent I of the Clinical Hospital of the Medicine Faculty of the University of São Paulo, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Sector of Fetal Medicine. Has experience in Human Genetics, focusing on Human and Medical Genetics, acting on the following subjects: Genetics Councilin; human reproduction genetics; fetal medicine; trophoblastic disease; human papiloma virus and adeno-associated virus.

Possui graduação em Medicina pela Fundação do ABC (1975), pós graduação em genética pelo Instituto de Genética Médica Humana (Humangenetik Institut) da Univversidade de Göttingen Alemanha (1981-1984), doutorado em genética pelo Instituto de Genética Humana da Bayeriche Universität Würzburg, Alemanha (1984) e pós doutorado com o Professor Dr. Harald zur Hausen (Prêmio Nobel de Medicina de 2008) no Centro Alemão de Pesquisa do Câncer (Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum, DKFZ), Heidelberg, Alemanha (1992-1996). Atualmente é Professor Assistente da Faculdade de Medicina do ABC e Assistente I do Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo, Departamento de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia setor de Medicina Fetal (CLT da Fundação Faculdade de Medicina da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo). Tem experiência na área de Genética, com ênfase em Genética Humana e Médica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: aconselhamento genético, genética da reprodução humana, medicina fetal, moléstia trofoblástica, papiloma vírus humano e vírus adeno-associado, genética do câncer em gestação.
