Karine Massia Pereira

Bacharela em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG). Mestre e doutora em Biologia de Ambientes Aquáticos Continentais pela mesma universidade. Atua nas áreas botânica, ecologia de macrófitas aquáticas, microbiologia e parasitologia. Estagiou nas coleções biológicas do Instituto de Ciências Biológicas (ICB) da FURG. Atuou como Assistente de Laboratório no Departamento de Microbiologia e Parasitologia do Instituto de Biologia (IB) da Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel). Atualmente é Assistente em Administração na Secretaria de Integridade, Transparência e Controle Social (SITC) da FURG.

Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). Master and PhD student in Biology of Continental Aquatic Environments from the same university. Works in the areas of botany, aquatic macrophyte ecology, microbiology and parasitology. Internship in the biological collections of the Institute of Biological Sciences (ICB) of FURG. She is currently Laboratory Assistant in the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology of the Institute of Biology (IB) of the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel).
