Doutorado em Ciências pela Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo em 2015. Dá aulas e seminários para os residentes de cardiologia no Instituto do Coração - HC - FMUSP. É professor colaborador da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo, com aulas para terceiro, quarto e sexto anos. É docente responsável pela disciplina: Introdução à pesquisa clínica em cardiologia (MSP 4041-FMUSP). É médico assistente da Unidade de Aterosclerose do Instituto do Coração - Hospital das Clinicas - FMUSP. Tem atuação em pesquisa na área de biomarcadores e doença arterial coronária crônica. Tem pesquisa de pos doutorado em curso correlacionando biomarcadores e ressonância magnética cardíaca. É revisor ad hoc de revistas nacionais e internacionais.
