Glauber Guimarães Cirino da Silva

Glauber Cirino nasceu no dia 02 de abril de 1982 em Belém, Pará. Graduou-se Bacharel em Meteorologia pela Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA) em 2008. Estudou no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Clima e Meio Ambiente do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (INPA), onde se titulou Mestre (MSc.) em 2011. Doutorou-se pelo mesmo programa em 2015 com período sandwich na Escola de Engenharia e Ciências Aplicadas da Universidade de Harvard (SEAS-Harvard University), Cambridge, Massachusetts (EUA). Atuou como pesquisador DTI-1B (CNPq) /2015 2016 em colaboração com a Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), desenvolvendo trabalhos observacionais no âmbito da Meteorologia Física e Ambiental. Desde 2009 estuda a conexão entre concentração e propriedades físico-químicas dos aerossóis biogênicos e antropogênicos na Amazônia, bem como os efeitos diretos e indiretos dessas partículas no sistema climático terrestre e ecossistemas de floresta na Amazônia. Desenvolve atividades como Docente do Ensino Superior desde 2013 aos dias atuais. Atualmente, atua como professor adjunto da Faculdade de Meteorologia no Instituto de Geociências da UFPA e pesquisador permanente nos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Ambientais - PPGCA (UFPA) e Gestão de Riscos e Desastres na Amazônia - PPGGRD (UFPA), atuando em linhas de pesquisas relacionadas à Poluição, Controle e Qualidade do Ar Atmosférico no leste da Amazônia.

Glauber Cirino was born on 2. April/1982, in Belém, Pará. He graduated in Meteorology from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) in 2008. He studied in the Postgraduate Program in Climate and Environment at the National Institute for Research in the Amazon (INPA), where he obtained a Master's (M.Sc.) in 2011. Furthermore, he received his Ph.D. from the same program in 2015 with a sandwich period at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University (SEAS-Harvard University), Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA). He also served as a DTI-1B researcher (CNPq) /2015-2016 with the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), developing research in the field of Physical and Environment field Meteorology. Since 2009, he has been studying the connection between concentration and physicochemical properties of biogenic and anthropogenic aerosols in the Amazon and the direct and indirect effects of these particles on the Earth's climate system and forest ecosystems of the Amazon basin. He has developed activities as a Higher Education Teacher from 2013 to the present. Currently, he is an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Meteorology at the Geosciences Institute of UFPA and a permanent researcher at the Postgraduate Programs in Environmental Sciences - PPGCA (UFPA) and Risk and Disaster Management in the Amazon - PPGGRD (UFPA), acting in lines of research related to Pollution, Control, and Quality of Atmospheric Air in eastern Amazonia.
