Ana Flávia Santos Almeida

Postdoctoral fellow at the PPG in Biological Sciences: Physiology and Pharmacology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais at the Neuroscience Center (2015-2019) and at the Hypertension laboratory (2020-2021). He completed his master's (2009-2011) and doctorate (2011-2015) in Biological Sciences: Physiology and Pharmacology at UFMG, with a doctorate with a sandwich period at the Laboratory of Development of Nociception at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Nottingham/England. Substitute Professor of Human Physiology at the Federal University of Ouro Preto - UFOP (2019). Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Newton Paiva University Center (2008). Coordinator of the Core of Basic Sciences, Advisor of Active Methodologies and Full Professor of the Medicine course at Faminas. Researcher at the Research and Development Department of the Cristiano Varella Foundation (Muriaé Cancer Hospital). She has experience in the area of cell biology, psychiatric and neurological diseases with a pharmacotherapeutic approach.

Coordenadora do Núcleo de Ciências Básicas, Orientadora de Metodologias Ativas e Professora titular do curso de medicina da Faminas. Pesquisadora no Departamento de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento da Fundação Cristiano Varella (Hospital do Câncer de Muriaé). Tem experiência na área de biologia celular, doenças psiquiátricas e neurológicas com enfoque farmacoterapêutico.
