Romildo Nicolau Alves

It has worked with analyzes of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K) and organic carbon (Corg) in organic materials and soil. He has been dedicated to the study of agroecology (organic production of vegetables and fruit, agroforestry systems, use of green fertilizers and management of organic materials) and agroenergy (production of biofuels and biogas). It guides students of Scientific Initiation and Masters, is responsible for the Laboratory of Analysis of Soil, Plant and Agroenergy. It resides in the south of the State of Roraima, in the city of Rorainópolis. It is part of the effective framework of the master's degree in Agroecology offered in association with IFRR / EMBRAPA / UERR, approved at CAPES. In the master's degree he teaches the discipline Biogeochemistry. Graduation (Agronomy) is responsible for the discipline Energy in Agriculture and Agroecology. He is the founder and coordinator of the Research, Extension and Agroecology Research Center (NEPEAGRO / CNP), of the IFRR, Novo Paraiso Campus, where he has already directed master's studies focused on local conditions. He is one of the coordinators of the Agroecological Space of IFRR / Campus Novo Paraíso. Space intended for teaching research and extension activities. He has accompanied the group of organic farmers in the south of the state of Roraima. It has specialization in biogas, given by the German group ME-LE.

Pós Doutor/Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (2010)/Departamento de Fitotecnia; Doutor/Universidade Federal de Pernambuco em Tecnologias Energéticas e Nucleares (2009); Mestre/Universidade Federal de Viçosa em Solos e Nutrição de Plantas (2001); Graduado em Licenciatura Plena em Ciências Agrícolas/Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (1999) e Técnico em Agropecuária/Escola Agrícola Federal do Crato/Ceará (1992). Em 2018, realizou especialização em biogás. Trabalha com agroecologia, sistemas agroflorestais, materiais orgânicos, rochas fosfatadas, ciclagem de nutrientes em agroecossistemas, energias renováveis (biogás) e bioeconomia. É servidor efetivo do Instituto Federal de Roraima (IFRR). Tem orientado estudantes de mestrado em agroecologia e iniciação científica. Faz parte do quadro efetivo de orientadores do mestrado em Agroecologia oferecido em associação do IFRR/EMBRAPA/ UERR. No mestrado ministra a disciplina Ciclagem Biogeoquímica. Na graduação lecionou as disciplinas: energia na agricultura, estatística experimental e fertilidade do solo. É criador e coordenador do Núcleo de Estudo, Pesquisa, Extensão em Agroecologia (NEPEAGRO) do IFRR. O NEPEAGRO foi aprovado e financiado pelo CNPq. Fundou o espaço agroecológico do IFRR/Campus Novo Paraíso. O espaço é destinado as atividades práticas do ensino, pesquisa e extensão em agroecologia. Os meus contatos são: (95) 99151 6554.
