Estevão de Melo Marcondes Luz

Doutor em História pela Unesp com pós-doutorado pela UFMG. Integra o grupo de pesquisa Historiar: narrativas identitárias, conceitos, linguagens (CNPq) e atua na área de História do Brasil Império em temas como imprensa periódica, jornais oitocentistas, curiosidades, embates políticos, história e memória, Minas Gerais. É autor dos livros "Incendiárias folhas" (Prismas, 2017; Appris, 2019) e "Entre lamentos e gargalhadas" (Brazil Publishing, 2019). Atuou no ensino superior na UNIFRAN entre 2009 e 2014, no SENAC e na UNIVESP. É professor efetivo na educação básica de Minas Gerais. Estudou no Mithibai College, em Mumbai, Índia (1997 e 1998); e na UNAM, na Cidade do México (2005).

PhD in History (UNESP) with post-doctorate (UFMG). He is part of the research group HISTORIAR - narrativas identitárias, conceitos, linguagens(CNPq), working in the area of ​​History of Brazil Empire, in themes such as periodical press, 19th century newspapers, curiosities of the 19th century press, political clashes, Minas Gerais, biographies. He is the author of "Incendiárias folhas" (Prismas, 2017; Appris, 2019) and "Entre lamentos e gargalhadas" (Brazil Publishing, 2019). He worked in higher education at UNIFRAN between 2009 and 2014, at SENAC and UNIVESP. He is currently an effective teacher in basic education in Minas Gerais. He was editor of the History and Culture Magazine (UNESP) and works as an expert in the magazines Dia-Logos (UERJ), History Magazine (UEG) and History and Culture (UNESP). He was a student at Mithibai College, in Mumbai, India, between 1997 and 1998, and at UNAM, in Mexico City, in 2005.
