Luiz Ernesto Santos de Carvalho Matta

Holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2001) and a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Military Engineering Institute (1996). He is currently Senior Technologist at the Technological Management Service at the Radioprotection and Dosimetry Institute of the National Nuclear Energy Commission. He works in the area of Nuclear Engineering, with emphasis on Occupational Radioprotection, working mainly in the following subjects: occupational radioprotection, norm, radon.From 2012, he began to manage the Technological Management and Innovation of the Institute of Radioprotection and Dosimetry.

Possui doutorado em Engenharia Nuclear pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2001) e mestrado em Engenharia Nuclear pelo Instituto Militar de Engenharia (1996) . Atualmente é tecnologista senior - chefe do serviço de Gestão Tecnológica no Instituto de Radioproteção e Dosimetria da Comissão Nacional de Energia Nuclear. Atua na área de Engenharia Nuclear, com ênfase em Radioproteção Ocupacional, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: radioproteção ocupacional, norm, radônio.A partir de 2012 passou a gerenciar a Gestão Tecnológica e Inovação do Instituto de Radioproteção e Dosimetria.
