Davi Castro Tavares

Bacharelado e licenciatura pela Universidade Gama Filho (Bolsista integral PROUNI proveniente de família com baixa renda), mestrado e doutorado em Ecologia e Recursos Naturais pela Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense. Pós-doutorado financiado pela CAPES e Fundação Alexander von Humboldt no Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research, Bremen, Alemanha, entre 2019 e 2021. Tenho interesse em investigar como a diversidade biológica é afetada pela alteração de habitats, variabilidade climática e atividades humanas. Sou autor de 50 publicações revisadas por pares em Ecologia, Modelagem e Data Science (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=xRLk0AcAAAAJ&hl=pt-PT).

Bachelor's at Gama Filho University (full scholarship PROUNI coming from a low-income family). Master's and PhD in Ecology and Natural Resources from the State University of Norte Fluminense. Post-doctoral funded by CAPES and Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research, Bremen, Germany, between 2019 and 2021. I am interested in investigating how biological diversity is affected by habitat change, climate variability and human activities.
