Bachelor's at Ciências from Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (2004) and master's (2007) and PhD (2018) in Plant Biology at the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES, Brazil), and visiting research at Brian Enquist laboratory (2017-2018). Currently, I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Quebec in Montreal, and Newton International Fellow by the British Royal Society, and I am developing the research project "Using tree function to understand vulnerability to climate change and protection strategies in a global biodiversity hot-spot ? Brazil?s Atlantic forest" in collaboration with Dr. Lucy Rowland (University of Exeter, UK) I am a Brazilian plant ecologist with background in botany, plant physiology, and applying trait-based ecological approaches and plant hydraulics to predict tropical tree community structure.
Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas (2004) e mestrado (2007) e doutorado (2018) em Biologia Vegetal pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. Participou do programa de doutorado sanduíche no exterior da CAPES (2017-2018), no qual teve a oportunidade de integrar o laboratório do Dr. Brian Enquist (University of Arizona). Atualmente, está em estágio pós-doutoral na University of Quebec in Montreal, e é Newton International Fellow, pela prestigiada British Royal Society, e desenvolve o projeto "Using tree function to understand vulnerability to climate change and protection strategies in a global biodiversity hot-spot ? Brazil?s Atlantic forest" em colaboração com a Dr. Lucy Rowland (University of Exeter, UK). Tem experiência em ecofisiologia vegetal, taxonomia, e na aplicação de abordagens de Ecologia Funcional e características hidráulicas e anatômicas de plantas para prever a estrutura e o funcionamento de comunidades arbóreas tropicais.
